Tying the knot at The Burgundy is a wedding that turns into an experience shared with your loved ones. It's about taking all your loved ones, all your favs away for a luxury escape in the Hunter Valley. About all experiencing something you will never forget and the best wedding celebration you could ever imagine. The number one thing we hear from wedding guests over and over again? "That was the best wedding we have ever been to". The Burgundy is located on 30 acres of beautiful Hunter Valley wine country, featuring acres of immaculate vineyards.
The best wedding celebration you could ever imagine could go something like this...
Arrival
You and your guests arrive and get settled into your rooms. The Burgundy has 15 bedrooms located across four beautiful villas and can sleep a total of 34 guests. We have onsite parking available for 100 cars.
Welcome Night
Kick off the celebrations with a Welcome Pizza Night. We have so many beautiful spots to host your event to greet your guests and ease into the celebrations in style. As the sun sets and the firepits roar to life, your guests will love soaking up The Burgundy vibe as the excitement builds for the next day.
Morning Yoga
The morning of the wedding, or a time and day of your choice, we hold a yoga class for any of your guests that want to attend. This is a great chance to get your zen on before the best party of your life, and gives your guests a chance to really soak up the magic and serene beauty of the Hunter Valley.
Playtime
There is so much to do here at The Burgundy at any time of year.
We have some great yard games for you and your guests to enjoy, and there is lots of the Hunter Valley to explore too.
As you walk around the property, you will find lots of hidden surprises and fun.
Getting ready
The accommodation is divided into four distinct villas. They are located within walking distance and provide plenty of privacy. Perfect for you to be completely separate and get ready with your bridal or groom party before walking down the aisle.
Ceremony
With the backdrop of the Hunter Valley your guests will see and hear the surrounding nature as they await your walk down the aisle. We have a range of indoor & outdoor options for your ceremony.
Canape Hour
After your magical "I Do's" your guests will transition into Cocktail Hour while you duck off for your photos. Our couple's adore spending time in cocktail hour too, so we recommend extending this so you can enjoy this time with your loved ones before the formalities of the night. You can enjoy some cocktails, and canapes around the firepits and complimentary yard games.
The Vineyard
The Burgundy has acres of immaculate vines and grows only red varietals across our property – thus the name The Burgundy. These vineyards are the perfect backdrop for your wedding and celebrations and of course your photos! The property comes alive and glows as the sun sets over the vineyard and creates the most incredible golden hour photo opportunities.
The Wedding Hall
A beautiful open space that can seat up to 200 people or 300 cocktail style. It features a beautiful indoor bar which flows seamlessly into the open plan wedding hall. There are large glass doors that can open right up onto the outdoor terrace which is covered and that spills out onto a level lawn area which is perfect for cocktail hour, outdoor dance floor or just enjoying that indoor/outdoor wedding vibe.

A minimum payment of $1,000 per month thereafter

60% of the total amount must be paid no later than 6 months prior to the wedding date
